Norwegian Fairytail
"It was the most greatful adventure in my Life!"-said my Mommy after this Trip.
It was Mid-June when we come to Norway for the 1st time in our lifes. We had 5 days trip, each day in different places and different adventures. Mommy's friend Natasha prepared exlusive tour and planed everything.
Our first day was in Oslo- the Capital City of Norway. The weather was pretty and we walked all day long. The most important sightseen in Oslo are: Opera House, Nobel Peace Centre, Museum of Viking history, Vigeland park and Central Embankment. What I especially liked that all people was very relaxed and positive, very pet friendly everywhere. But be ready- very very expensive city. Restaurants, hotels and city transport have very high prices.
In our 2nd Day we had flight to the touristic capital -Bergen. We flew Nowegian, which is the best low-coast airline in Europe. Very friendly crew and nice service, besides you can pay for dog at the same time, when you buying a ticket for yorself. Bergen is very cute small city with many old streets and squares, besides with UNESCO protected embankment called Bryggen Bergen. Don't forget to go up by funiculer to Floyen. Amazing view point from there in nice weather. And of couse stop by central Seafood market to taste unforgetable smoked norwigian salmon or freshly caught oysters.
In the 3rd day we have a big trip by train to Flam and cruise on the Fjords. This is the most nature beauty trip we have ever seen. Mountains, waterfalls, fjords, sky and amazing weather! what else we can imagine?! We also had no problem with doggie on board. So we enjoed the beauty together.
The 4th day of trip. We took a car in rental centre and went to The Troll's Tongue. At that time we didn't know how to get there. Because it is a professional hikking trail, which is 11 km up just to get to the Troll's Tongue. It opens in the 15th of June till 15th of September. Takes around 10-12 hours hiking. And if you wanna go with the dog please don't forget about this tips:
1. Start your way is earler as you can (perfect will be around 6am).
2. Take water (but not so much) and don't waste bottle, you can take water out of a glacier.
3. Don't forget the food for you and doggie.
4. Wear light sport costume, take gloves and sport hat and take smth to wear your dog in case of rain or snow.
5. Don't forget hiking sticks.
6. Take with you 1st AID medication.
Unfortunately we didn't get to the top, just 4 km up and same down. But next time we will make it for sure.
Next day we also visit wonderful waterfalls: Latefossen and Staindalsfossen.
We recomend this distination to everyone who wants to spend vacation in actiive style and harmony with nature. Will be great memories for all your family and of couse it is good choice to have a vacation with your doggie too. Just check on Booking.com petfriendly hotels there!)))
